Mill Town Station
…and welcome to Mill Town Station, in the Coastal Range Foothills of Lane County, Oregon, and the old lumber mill town of Noti. Mill Town Station is the home of the historic Noti Grade School, built in 1927 on a sunny 11-acre property surrounded by low hills and soaring evergreens. Two regionally-significant lumber mills operate in this valley, alongside the Coos Bay Railway, the old Noti Pub and several small farms.
The iconic old schoolhouse consists of four large classrooms on the main floor under a central tower, home of “The Principal’s Office.” The classic (circa 1990) full gymnasium is in great shape and has a large commercial kitchen. The terraced grounds provide space for large crowds to gather, spread out, and play. Plenty of on-site parking, and camping can sometimes be accommodated. This campus has been a gathering place for over 100 years, and is a great location for weddings, reunions and other special events. Did I mention the spectacular view of the surrounding countryside?
We are just off of Highway 126, 5 miles west of Veneta or 15 miles west of Eugene, and less than an hour’s drive east of the coast. You’ll find us near the entrance to the Noti Loop – at 22713 Noti Loop Road, Noti, OR 97461. Although renovations are currently in progress, I would love to talk to you about your event ideas – drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
